A list of films produced by the film industry based in Mumbai to be released in 2012. Several commercially and critically successful films have been released by the Bollywood film industry in 2012.

 As of November 2012, Ten films have made it to the top 30 list of highest grossing films at the Indian box office. This year saw the highest number of hits in a year and also the highest release count (around 155 films).

This year also marks the first time in Bollywood history that eight films Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Rowdy Rathore, Agneepath, Housefull 2, Barfi!, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Bol Bachchan grossed more than 100 crore domestically
