Lucky Star tells the story of Ranjith, whose aim in life is to become a rich man and thus to lead a happy. In order to become a billionaire he thinks of two ways, either to take a lottery ticket or to become a film star. But both the attempts failed miserably. Shutter Malayalam Movie Story

 

Shutter tells the story of Rasheed a non resident Indian Malayali working in Gulf. He comes to his hometown in order to solemnise his daughter's engagement. Rasheed has invested in a commercial property next to his house which he has let out to store owners, except for one room. He hopes to use this room to start a business on his final return from the Gulf. During his holiday this room becomes a meeting place for Rasheed and his friends, where they bond over drinks every night. During one of his drunken night, Rashid gets locked in his garage with a prostitute. 

His accomplice, an autorickshaw driver, locks the garage from the outside to let the two have some fun, fails to turn up at the stroke of midnight. The unlikely couple find themselves caged in for two nights and a whole day, and most of the narrative centres on this embarrassing plight.

Samrajyam II: Son of Alexander  is an upcoming Indian Malayalam gangster film directed by Perarasu. The film is produced by Ajmal Hassan and Byju Adithyan. It is sequel to 1990 Mammootty starrer blockbuster Samrajyam and Unni Mukundan will play the lead role of Jordan, the son of Alexander who was the protagonist in the prequel.

 The hero launch function was held in Dubai on 5 October 2012. Ashi will play the female lead making her debut in Malayalam. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by R. A. Shafeer and Ilaiyaraaja, with lyrics penned by Sarath Vayalar, while Shekar V. Joseph handled the cinematography.
